PRODUCT INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION
Cellulase C500 is a complex feed-grade enzyme mixture derived from Trichoderma reesei. Cellulase C500 contains all three
cellulolytic activities (endo- and exo-cellulase and β-glucosidase
activities) and significant levels of β-glucanase. The presence of
these activities makes Cellulase C500 suitable for use on a variety of grains to aid in the breakdown of complex carbohydrates.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Cellulase C500 is supplied as a white to tan powder that is
soluble in water.
Cellulase C500 is active in a pH range of 4.0-6.5 with an optimum near pH 5.
USAGE RECOMMENDATIONS
Cellulase C500 is recommended for use in aquaculture and
animal feed, especially in situations where a combination of
enzymes will improve feed utilization. Cellulase may improve
nutrient release from non-traditional feedstuffs.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Cellulase C500 is stable for 18 months when stored in a cool,
dry place.

Inhalation and direct contact with enzyme preparations may
cause allergic reaction or irritation. To minimize the risk around
enzyme preparations, it is important to prevent inhalation
and direct contact with any part of the body. Please refer to

TECHNICAL SERVICE
Cellulase C500 is active in a temperature range of 45°C to 70°C
with an optimum near 55°C.
