The Weather of Feelings
Is your county in the north or in the south or it is along the equator? As you know,
these places in the world have different weather systems. Some places have only two
types of weather (rainy and sunny) while others have four seasons. Along with these
are people’s emotions. Generally, people associate emotions with weather. Different
types of weather symbolize different emotions. Let us study each of them.
Sunny day
For many people, this weather is the finest one. A person who is experiencing a
sunny day emotion feels very clear and very zestful. This is the best emotion a person
could have. A person with this weather can easily adapt to situations calmly, and
he/she will most likely cause no trouble.
Rainy day
People in this kind of weather experience pain, sorrow, failure and regret. When it is
rainy, isn’t it that you feel lonesome because you cannot go outside to play? Also, the
outside is very dark and gloomy which makes someone feel sad. This weather can best
describe emotional people.
Stormy day
This weather is associated with conflicts and problems. Lightning strikes are
considered conflicts while the roar of the thunder means problems. A person feeling
endangered and at risk mostly considers the day stormy. This is where people worry a
lot. Also, this can depict anger.

Windy day
This is a special weather. It feels comfortable and peaceful when the wind is touching
your face and playing with your hair. This can also describe calm people. On the other
hand, this can also be used to describe those boastful people who always brag about
themselves.
Cloudy day
This is the weather that describes a person having indescribable feelings. Sometimes,
cloudy skies can result in a rainy day. Thus, it can lead to sadness. However, in some
cases, cloudy skies become clear after some time, so a person can be happy and jovial.
Snowy day
Unlike rainy days, snowy days are often romantic. Hence, snowy days show romance
and love. Nonetheless, this can also show coldness of emotion. Being cold means being
boring and unable to respond warmly. Having this emotional weather can cause other
people to feel lonely, left behind and unimportant and it can also result in cool-offs.
All in all, the weather can somehow affect the way people feel. However, these types
of weather have no direct connection to our emotions. It is merely the mind’s
association with these that gives us the chance to describe the indescribable.
