City Center
The Glencoe City Center offers a venue for special
events unsurpassed in ambiance with sophisticated
style, luxury, and charm. At one time, this 1932 historic
building was one of the area’s finest schools, and now
has been transformed into our City Center.
Perfect for weddings and special events, our Grand
Ballroom has beautiful hardwood floors, large, towering
windows and the original oak woodwork.
We are located in downtown Glencoe at 1107 11th
Street East. Call today to schedule your private tour at
(320) 864-6951 or visit us at www.glencoemn.org.
Library
Located in the Glencoe City Center, the newly-remodeled Public Library provides many services to our
citizens and those from the surrounding communities.
Besides a large collection of books for all ages, the library also offers:
• Free WiFi
• Computer Lab
• Conference Room
• Study Spaces
• Wii Gaming Room
• And Much More!
Whether you are in town for a day, a year, or a lifetime, the Glencoe Public Library is here to assist you.
For more information, call (320) 864-3919 or visit
www.glencoepubliclibrary.webs.com.
The Glencoe Wildlife Refuge
The refuge is a 32-acre fenced park to the south of
Oak Leaf Park. Surrounded by a maintained walking
path with shaded benches for observation, visitors can
observe stunning close up views of elk, white tail deer,
swans, waterfowl, pheasants, peacocks and llamas. Visitors enjoy a peaceful nature experience, complete with
the sound of the gurgling Buffalo Creek, chirping of
birds, and visits from the wildlife to the fence. The
Glencoe Sportsmen’s Club runs the preserve, and it is
funded through fund raisers and private donations.
Don’t forget an apple or carrots as they will enjoy this
treat at the fence!
Farmers’ Market
The Glencoe Area Farmers’ Market season begins in
Mid-June each year and runs through Mid-October. The
market is open every Thursday from 3-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9-noon. Our market vendors are committed to
providing a variety of fresh, locally-grown produce and
baked goods. The Farmers’ Market is located on the south
side of 11th Street, just east of Glencoe Oil, adjacent to the
Glencoe City Center. For more information call (320) 8643650.
