PreproductionQuestgameorWorldWar3Quest.
QuestInstructions:
1. LRF-CreateaLRFandnameit“lastnamefirstname.GameSound”.
2. Purpose-Usingtheskillsthatyougainedinthelevel2questsuseGarage
Bandtocreatesoundeffectsforagame.
a. SoundEffects-Playersshouldcreateatleast5differentsound
effectswhichmayincludethefollowingexamples:
i. Voice-Playerscanhavespeakingornoisescreated
verbally
ii. Physicalobjects-Makesoundslikefootsstepswith
objects
iii. OtherSources?-Youcancreatesoundsincreativeways
butyouarenottodownloadsoundsfromtheinternetfor
thisquest.YoumustcreateallsoundswithinGarageBand.
b. GarageBandFiles–IncludeinyourLRFforthisquestthe
separateGarageBandfiles.Namethemaccordingtothesound
youmade.Forexampleifyouhaveaclappingsoundeffectyou
mightwanttonameit“Clapping”.
c. MP3files-Export(Share)theGarageBandmusictoMP3andsave
ittoyourLRFforthequest.Nameeachmp3fileaccordingtothe
nameoftheGarageBandfilethatitwascreatedfrom.
d. AliceFile-AddthesoundtoanAlicedocument.Youmaycreatea
newoneoruseoneofthepreviousonesthatdoesn’thavesound
andrenameitandsaveitintheLRFforthisquest.
3. TurninInstructions:
a. PrintouttheQuestCompletionformandwriteyournameonit.
b. ThreeholepunchtheprintoutandbinditintoyourQuest
notebook,thenplaceitintheTurninTray.
c. TurnintheLRFforthisquesttotheDropBoxforyourclass
d. Yournotebookwillbereturnedtothenotebookcabinetafteryour
teacherverifiesthecompletionofthequest.
