[email protected] SPECIAL REGULATIONS ARRIVAL: Cattle must be on the Darwin Showgrounds, Winnellie - NO later than 2:30pm, Wednesday 26th July 2017 and shall remain until after the Grand Parade on Saturday. STUD SECTION: All stud cattle entries (Bulls, Cows and Heifers) for judging must be available to be weighed at 5:00pm Wednesday the 26th of July 2017. MOVEMENT: Exhibitors should ensure that any requirements for movement of stock are complied with under the NT Livestock ACT. Stock returning interstate or move below the Parhurst cattle tick infected zone or tick line must supervised with certification by an inspector. Three (3) days’ notice is required. For information contact DPI&R, Animal Biosecurity Office, Berrimah Farm during normal business hours. Stock Inspector on 8999 2034 or 0401 115 802. All cattle nominated to attend the Darwin Show must be identified with a National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) device in the right ear before delivery to the showgrounds. The cattle must be accompanied by a completed NT Waybill which includes the Property Identification Code (PIC) of the property of origin. The Chief Steward will issue NT waybills for cattle leaving the showground. The Darwin Show Society will complete the upload of movement records to the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) database. ALL CATTLE MUST HAVE NLIS TAGS. CATTLE NEED TO STAY UNTIL 6:00PM ON SAT 29th July 2017. FOOD: To be provided by Exhibitor. WATER: To be provided by RASNT. BEDDING: Will be provided by RASNT for Stud Cattle accommodation in pens. STOCK: All stock animals to be accredited T.B. and Brucellosis free. All animals to be tick free. All animals entered in Stud Section must be led and MUST be available for the Grand Parade. Bulls: All Bulls over 12 months of age must have nose rings inserted and be led. Note: 1. No Bulls to be moved about the battle lanes unless properly restrained with nose holds. 2. Bulls under 12 Months of age must be restrained at all times when being led in judging ring or moved around the cattle lanes. Halter is acceptable. Females: All Females to be led with fitted nose clips at all times. AGE: As at 27th July 2017. CAMPING: To advise number of campers and size of vehicle on entry form. Must be financial members. Wristbands must be worn and will be issued from the cattle office. Please fill in camping names and numbers on entry form, vehicle registration number must be included.
