Wisconsin Shrine Pilgrimage from September 22-24, 2016. The
above registered pilgrim agrees to defend, protect, indemnify and
hold harmless the Diocese of Green Bay to include The Compass,
and all three shrine locations included in this pilgrimage from
all claims arising from the negligence or fault of the Wisconsin
Shrine Pilgrimage or any of their agents, family members,
officers, volunteers, helpers, partners, organizational members
or associates which arise out of the above identified pilgrimage.
Additionally, the above named agrees to protect, defend, hold
harmless and fully indemnify the above named Diocese of any
claim or cause of action whatsoever arising out of the above
mentioned pilgrimage which takes place September 22-24, 2016,
that is brought against the Diocese by the above named pilgrim or
their family members whether such claim arises from the alleged
negligence of the Diocese, its employees or agents or pilgrimage
negligence. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is
agreed that the balance thereof, shall continue in full legal force
and effect.

Riverside Drive, Green Bay, WI 54301 - Lower lot at 7:45 a.m. on
Thursday, September 22, 2016. Arrive at Diocese of Green Bay Lower lot approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016.
Accommodations: Stoney Creek Inn, 3060 S. Kinney Coulee
Rd., Onalaska, WI 54650. Phone: 608-781-3060. Cost is based
on double occupancy. Single-room supplement is $90. Roommate
requests must be listed on the registration form of both pilgrims.

Tips and Taxes: All tips and taxes are included.
Modern Coach Bus: Pilgrims will be traveling in a deluxe motor
coach from Lamers Bus Lines, Inc.
Not Included: 1) Alcoholic beverages 2) Individual snacks
Assistance: Pilgrims who require personal assistance must
be accompanied by a paying passenger who will provide that
assistance. All pilgrims under the age of 18, must be accompanied
by a paid adult.
Registration: To secure a registration, mail this form and your

23825, Green Bay, WI 54305-3825. Checks can be made payable
to The Compass. Full refund will be given for cancellations on
or before September 1, 2016; No refund for cancellations after
September 1, 2016.
Insurance: Insurance is NOT included in this pilgrimage.
Responsibility and Liability: All pilgrims must read and sign the
Adult Hold Harmless/Indemnity Agreement on the registration form.

Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help
Situated on 435 beautiful acres outside of Milwaukee, the Basilica
of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, receives more
than 500,000 visitors each year. Holy Hill was declared a Shrine
with “Portiuncula Privilege” by Pope Leo XIII in 1903. As a result
of the increasing number of pilgrims, the Discalced Carmelite
Friars from Bavaria were invited to staff the Shrine in 1906. On
November 19, 2006, the Shrine was elevated to the status of
Basilica.
Nestled amid the beautiful natural setting of southwest Wisconsin,
the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe serves the spiritual needs
of those who suffer poverty in body and soul. It is a place of
ceaseless prayer for the corporal and spiritual welfare of God’s
children, especially those most in need. Faithful to the message of
the Blessed Virgin Mary through her appearances on the American
continent in 1531 and funded entirely by private donations.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help stands humbly, yet majestically,
in a quiet and beautiful spot of rural northeast Wisconsin. Known as
“The Chapel” by the local inhabitants, the Shrine of Our Lady of Good
Help is built directly over the site where Mary, the Queen of Heaven,
appeared to Adele Brise, a young Belgian immigrant, in October 1859,
one year after the Marian apparitions occurred at Lourdes, France. For
over 150 years, the faithful have come to this hallowed site seeking the
intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Marian apparition at the
Shrine was granted official Church approval on December 8, 2010.

Day 2: Friday, September 23, 2016

• Travel to Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Crosse
• Free time to get up the hill/see devotional areas
• Directed tour of the shrine church and artworks
• Time to pray the rosary and go to confession
• Holy Mass in the shrine church
• Lunch provided
• Visit and pray at the many devotional areas on the shrine
grounds and visit Flores Mariae Gift Shop
• Wine tasting and dinner
• Arrive at Stoney Creek Inn, Onalaska
Day 3: Saturday, September 24, 2016
• Breakfast at hotel
• Board bus and travel to The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help,
Champion
• Welcome lunch at the shrine
• Shrine presentation
• Free time (gift shop, walk the grounds to visit Grottos, pray in
the crypt)
• Time to pray the rosary and go to confession
• Holy Mass in the shrine church
• Board bus and return to Diocese of Green Bay at
approximately 5:30 p.m.
