STEM / Music
Congratulations Julia, Jack I, Braith, Blake,
Brooke, Tyson, William and Cadence who
travelled to Benaraby State School to represent
Coschool in the Port Curtis Cross Country

displayed great sportsmanship. Well Done!
NO Commonwealth Games Camp
Unfortunately we will not be able to hold a
Commonwealth Games Camp as part of our school
camp program due to a lack of interest from students
who would have qualified for this camp. As we went
on camp this year our next camp will be in 2019.
Athletics
This term Friday afternoon’s has been allocated
for students to become involved in athletics. Our
school sports day will be held on 9th June and
Mt. Larcom/ Ambrose/ Yarwun sports day will
be held on 16th June.
Tuckshop
Tuckshop orders MUST be in by
Thursday. Orders submitted on Friday
will not be processed. SUSHI is no longer
on the menu.
Last Thursday afternoon our students participate in
rotational groups between music and STEM
activities. Miss Cuthbert instructed students in
music and Mrs. Ryan involved students in STEM.
STEM will involve science, technology, engineering
and mathematic activities. Last week the upper
grades designed and tested a variety of paper
plane. Students discovered that the larger planes
glided a further distance than the smaller planes
due to increase surface to keep the plane up.
