Course Description:
An intensive glass sculpting class for artists or skilled craftspeople that
are interested in further artistic exploration.
The courses primary focus is the experience of hot glass sculpture and
how it can work with and combine with other materials and techniques.
Students should bring to the class their other technical skills and
knowledge as well as 'found objects' which act as inspiration to the mixed
media creations.
Glassblowing and color application techniques will be demonstrated daily
as well as giving practical advice on how to assemble pieces, gluing and
painting as well as how to promote your pieces in museums, galleries and
as public art.

The class will be taking place at a very exciting time for Oaxaca with its
spectacular ‘Day of the Dead’ celebrations. A great time to explore the
city, it’s archeological ruins, and graveyards!

Day of the Dead Tour: 1st November, 18.00 - 22.00
