The DRAFTSMAN is a versatile tactile drawing board that is used in combination with
special film and a ballpoint pen or stylus to create instant raised-line images. Intended
for a wide audience, such as students, teachers, parents, and adults with blindness, the
DRAFTSMAN can be used for a variety of applications including:
• Producing simple raised-line graphics (e.g., geometric shapes, maps, graphs)
• Demonstrating math concepts and tasks (e.g., measuring line length, identifying symmetrical figures)
• Demonstrating science concepts (e.g., sound waves, galaxy types, chemical bonds)

The DRAFTSMAN has a plastic frame that encases a double-layered rubber surface.
Provided with the drawing board are 25 sheets of special drawing film. Simply clamp the
drawing film onto the board and use a stylus (included), or any ordinary ballpoint pen to
quickly draw a raised image.
