Theresa and Frederick the Great as rulers.
Maria Theresa was a decisive and ambitious ruler, as evidenced by her success in
stopping Prussia’s aggression and in allying with a former enemy to stop an even
stronger foe. Frederick II was a strong and aggressive leader in foreign affairs
but compassionate in domestic affairs.
