My Migraine Secret Weapon
I suffer from migraines. Not often, maybe one or two a month, but they keep me
from doing all of the things that I have to do in a days time. They are usually
triggered by stress, odors like diesel or bleach, or loud noises like walking into a
Forever 21 store.
Locking myself in a dark room is hard impossible to pull off when you are a
caregiver. Caregivers are like mail carriers: “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor
gloom of night stays these couriers caregivers from the swift completion of their
appointed rounds”.
I can’t just say, “Hey, mom can you manage your Alzheimer’s today? I have a
migraine?” That wouldn’t work out to well. Either the house would be burnt to the
ground or all of the furniture would be piled on top of each other because it may
come a storm! Yeah, welcome to my world!
Enter my friend Lisa Jacobson. She is the creator of a product called the Migraine
Hat. Below is a video that explains it better than I ever could.
Migraine Hat (TM)
She mailed me one of these hats months ago. She is a migraine expert! She has had
thousands of migraines in her lifetime and has now made it her mission to bring
awareness and aid to the migraine sufferers of the world.
I absolutely LOVE this hat! I can’t believe that something so simple can help with
migraines better than any other product that I have tried and believe me I’ve tried
A LOT! From medicines to acupuncture and nothing helped until now!
As you can see from the images and video you put the ice pack inside and then you
Velcro it together to make a hat that is comfortable and doesn’t look bad at all. I
have worn mine out a few times and no one was able to tell that it held ice packs
inside of it!
The best way to deal with a migraine is to gure out what triggers yours and then
do your best to avoid those triggers. Of course, that’s not always possible and in
that case the Migraine Hat is my secret weapon.
It was created speci cally for migraines, but a couple of weeks ago when the hot
ashes were driving me crazy I put on my hat and guess what? I felt better instantly.
I’ve even used it when I was sick and running a fever! It is one of my most prized
possessions and I never leave home without it!
Mine came with two ice packs so there is always a frozen one ready to use and it
also came with it’s own little carry case that makes it easy to pack. I can’t imagine
life without it now! If you suffer from migraines or hot ashes you really should
invest in one of these babies! They’re very affordable at $29.99.
*This is not a sponsored post. I was given the hat by my friend and fell completely,
hopelessly in love with it and wanted to share it with all of you!
