Proposed Official Community Plan Amendment – Bylaw No. 9446
The City of Saskatoon is proposing the following closure of
Right-of-Way – Portion of the intersection of 11th Street
West and Avenue H South – Holiday Park Neighbourhood
CORMAN PARK – SASKATOON PLANNING DISTRICT
Public notice is hereby given that Saskatoon City Council will consider text
amendments under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw
No. 8844, known as the Corman Park – Saskatoon Planning District Official
Community Plan.
AFFECTED LANDS - The affected lands are all lands contained within the
Corman Park – Saskatoon Planning District, which is an area inside the Rural
Municipality (RM) of Corman Park that extends approximately one to five
kilometres from city limits.

REASON FOR THE AMENDMENT - The proposed Bylaw No. 9446 will provide
for a textual amendment to Section 9: Waste Management and Remediation
Objectives and Policies by adding the following sub-sections after section 9.3.9:

The City of Saskatoon is proposing the following closure of
Right-of-Way – Portion of Spadina Crescent West between
Gordie Howe Bridge and the 1300 Block of Spadina
Crescent West – Holiday Park Neighbourhood

9.3.10. Notwithstanding section 9.3.5, and subject to
compliance with the Official Community Plan, the owners
of all parcels with single family dwellings, parcels in
multi-parcel country residential developments, and
recreational use lands located within the required
separation distance from a proposed liquid waste facility,
may unanimously agree in writing to relax the strict
application of the separation distance. Any such agreement
shall be registered as an interest on the affected titles.”
9.3.11. Notwithstanding section 9.3.10, a relaxation of
separation distances cannot allow a greater relaxation
than the requirements of The Waterworks and Sewage
Works Regulations.”
