Conclusion
Sharing Personal Action Plans (continued)
Notes:
Sharing your insight and observations as the facilitator
will help strengthen participants’ plans. Ask questions and
clarify participants’ goals and potential obstacles.
While participants share plans, ask them to jot down
any useful feedback they receive from the group in their
Journals.
When the large group is brought back together, you
may wish to summarize some feedback from the group.
Encourage participants to keep their Participant Journals
and continue to stick to the action plans they have created.
The ongoing support of family and friends can be extremely
helpful.
Post-test
Administer the post-test for completion by participants. A
reproducible test is located on pages 74-75 of this Guide.
The answer key is on pages 76-77. Answer any questions
participants may have.
Course Evaluation

Evaluation by marking one answer per row and placing a
dark mark that covers the box completely. Tell participants
not to put their names on the Course Evaluation. Collect
completed Course Evaluations.

Pre-/Post-test Answer Key • Alternatives Youth Diversion Education Program
The corresponding point value for questions that measure changes to attitudes (12-23)
are noted in red to the left of the check boxes. If the point total is higher on the post-test
FACILITATOR than the pre-test, there has been a positive change in the participant’s attitudes. If the
score is lower on the post-test, this indicates a negative change.
