Beyond the Red Door Society Pledge Levels

Gilda’s Club Evansville
Beyond the Red Door Society . . . needs YOU!
At Gilda’s Club Evansville, our goal is to bring a community of support and resources for anyone whose life has
been impacted by cancer. The state of Indiana projects 35,000 people will be diagnosed with cancer this year,
not including the 10,000+ children who will hear the words, ‘you’ve got cancer.” No one should have to face
cancer alone, and with your continued support, they won’t have to.
Beyond the Red Door Society Pledge Levels:
Gift of Friendship - $1000 each year for 3-5 years
(You will receive an invitation to our annual GIP (Gilda Important Person) reception and one puzzle piece on our “Lean on Me”
puzzle) The “Gift of Friendship” sponsors the yearly cost of the cancer support program for one person living
with cancer. There is a direct relationship between a cancer diagnosis and the need for psychosocial support.
Connecting with others going through the same experiences, in support and networking groups or during
community and social activities, brings strength, hope and transformation.
Gift of Empowerment - $3000 each year for 3-5 years
(You will receive an invitation to our annual GIP (Gilda Important Person) reception and three puzzle pieces on our “Lean on Me” puzzle)
The “Gift of Empowerment” sponsors the yearly cost of the cancer support program for three people in our community who are living
beyond cancer. Treatments are complete, surgeries are done, now what? Engage with others that share this journey through wellness
education, healthy lifestyle workshops and support groups that empower people to LIVE life to the fullest, each and every day.
Gift of Laughter - $5000 each year for 3-5 years
(You will receive an invitation to our annual GIP (Gilda Important Person) reception and five puzzle pieces on our “Lean on Me” puzzle)
The “Gift of Laughter” honors the memory of Gilda Radner, whose honesty and humor in her own journey with cancer inspired the
creation of Gilda’s Clubs worldwide. When someone you care about is diagnosed with cancer, you are swept up in the experience
as well. This is especially difficult for children, who often have difficulty understanding and expressing the emotions that can feel
overwhelming and frightening. A commitment at this level is a significant contribution to the family and youth programs and Teen
Connect and Noogieland activities.
Yes, I want to help make sure….that no one faces cancer alone.
