THE SHOE THAT BREATHES
THE GEOX PATENT
Geox has perforated the rubber soles of its shoes and
inserted a special microporous membrane that absorbs
and expels sweat without letting water in.
The membrane’s micropores are smaller than water
drops, which therefore can’t pass through the
membrane, but are larger than the water vapour
molecules.
Sweat, in the form of water vapour, can pass through
the membrane and out through the perforated sole.

THE BENEFITS
The Geox patent reduces feet overheating:
the gradual elimination of moisture from the interior
of the shoe creates an ideal, healthy microclimate for
the feet, keeping them warm and dry in the winter, and
cool and dry in the summer.

FEET PERFECTLY DRY.
“Geox Cuoio“ features a cutting edge transpiring
waterproof membrane which is fitted onto the leather
sole. The foot breathes by passing its moisture
through the breathable membrane and then out to the
leather sole where it is dispersed in the air. Water and
humidity, instead, are repelled by the same membrane
and kept out of the sole. The resulting sole has
undergone intensive testing which has proved it to be
totally waterproof.

Geox Amphibiox® is now a system that offers comfort
and waterproof solutions specifically developed to
meet the needs of a varied range of situations and
environmental conditions, from the degree of water
immersion required, to the desired grade of heat
insulation.
A special breathable, waterproof membrane protects
both the sole and the upper, preventing water
from entering the shoe, while maintaining Geox’s
extraordinary breathability. This helps maintain an ideal
comfortable microclimate for your feet, which stay

INNER BREATHING SYSTEM
The special interior lining with spacers creates free
space between the foot and the upper. Heat can
escape upwards through this space, facilitating the
natural process of body temperature regulation and
providing the pleasant feeling of having dry feet.
NET BREATHING SYSTEM™
Thanks to the extra-large perforations in the sole,
paired with the full-size membrane that lies beneath the
entire foot, Nebula helps excess heat escape, ensuring
maximum breathability at all times. There is also a
special polyester layer that protects feet from sharp
objects, including in the open areas of the sole.
NATURAL FLEXIBILITY & PERFECT CUSHIONING
Thanks to the 3D PERFORMANCE UNIT system, the
sole has been designed to follow the foot’s natural
points of contact. It is produced with materials that
ensure perfect cushioning and optimum flexibility, both
during normal walking and in more energetic situations.
