Joey Boxtop cavity frames are designed to suit most
standard application, easy to install and adjust. Units
can be directly mounting to finished floor surface and
have adjustable clearance ranging from 6mm to 20mm
under the door. The Box Top is installed in a manner
that allows it to be removed after installation.
Ensure the correct size unit is purchased using the
above tabled information and stud opening drawings.
The cavity
75mm unit will be supplied with:
• Closing jamb, headboard and pelmet
• Galvanised steel track with guide strips attached
• Complete packet of fittings including rollers, brackets, guide fingers and screws.

Fix the unit to the floor, stud and head ensuring it is square, plumb
and without twist. If installing directly to floor joist, pack the joist
to the intended finished floor level first. If allowance for thick floor

Loosen the lock nut on brackets. Angle the door about 40mm
into unit, pack to correct height. Possition the rollers on the track
commencing with the bracket nearest the cavity frame. Adjust the
lock nut to ensure door closes flush to jamb. Tighten nut when door

Rest the rear end of the track onto the track platform. Locate the
keyhole slot on the spigot, and engage. Fix track to pelmet in
doorway only, utilizing the pre-drilled holes.
