Class changes cannot be made. Please project a positive attitude towards school and your child will reflect
this.
Also keep in mind that students are settling into their new class and teachers are just getting to know their
students. In Week 4, teachers will be hosting a Meet The Teacher night for each stage. Please refer to the
new school newsletter which will be posted in your inbox in the morning.
If you have any concerns about your child, please make an appointment to meet with your child’s teacher
and, if necessary, their Assistant Principal after the Meet The Teacher evenings.
As well as this organisation, I would like to publicly thank Belinda Shehadie for the support she has
provided to me in the position of Deputy Principal (Relieving). She decided last year to return to her
substantive position of Assistant Principal Stage 3 this year. So to fill this role, Matt Gallan will be the
Deputy Principal (Relieving).
Thank you for your kind words of support this week, especially at the Tea and Tissues Morning Tea on
Wednesday for our new Kindergarten students. It has been a very busy time for all our staff. I am very
much looking forward to meeting you all over time.
I apologise for the lateness of this email. The Department of Education network was down for some time
today.
Yours sincerely
Deborah Evans
Principal
