Soccer and basketball
I am a 19 year old bilingual Laurentian University student who plans to graduate with a degree in Health
promotion. I would love to pursue my studies in the medical field and potentially become a doctor. For my
whole life I have lived in Sudbury and attended Macdonald- Cartier high school. Last summer, I worked for the
city as a camp councillor and enjoyed being around the young active children. I have always been a studious and
active person. I take school and physical activity very seriously since I find these 2 aspects to be some of the
most important in my life. I enjoy learning and gaining different types of experiences, to be able to accomplish
as much as I can during my life journey.
Why I’m part of the FitSpirit team?
I believe in the programs mission to help young women either stay or begin to be physically active. I think my
presence to the team will not only benefit the young girls I get to work with, but myself as well.
A fun fact about me
I have been playing soccer for over 15 years
My work
I am a server at Red Lobster.
My involvement in my community
I have volunteered at several track meets and high school sport competitions. I have also assisted and helped
prepare special guest presentations at Laurentian University.
Results (in my sports career or special accolades in my profession)
In 2011, my school Macdonald-Cartier won OFSAA soccer. I have won basketball city’s twice. In 2015, I had
taken part in the finals for Sudbury’s women’s soccer.
