A telephone (with an individual extension number), local
calling services and special calling features, such as voice
mail. When family and friends are attempting to reach
you at the residence, they should dial (705) 474-2526

Primus Canada Long Distance Plans
Primus Canada offers you low cost options for your
long distance needs, like Unlimited long distance calling
for as low as $14.95/month.
You need to get your own REZ Phone Card with a
unique Personal Authorization Code (PAC) to use every
time you place a long distance call from any phone in
Residence. This code will allow you to receive a long
distance bill itemizing your long distance calls only.

For your convenience, each room is equipped with a
telephone set. It’s functions are available only on the
Residence Telephone System. Remember that this
telephone must remain in your room and that you are
responsible for it.

Troubleshooting Hints
Check your PAC and the telephone number you
are calling.
Check your telephone cord for fraying (which may
cause static).
Try your call from another room. If it is successful,
the problem may be with your telephone.

International Calls
Dial 8, wait for the tone, then dial 011 + country code
+ city code (if required) + telephone number, wait for
tone, then dial your ten digit PAC Number. (For all other
calling cards, dial 6 and follow the given instructions).
Primus has partnered with Evergreen and offers paperless
billing to help contribute to a greener environment.
E-billing is free of charge. For customers who wish to
receive paper bills, a charge will be applied to your invoice.
Billing and Payment
Your Voice Mailbox
Your Primus Canada invoice is payable upon receipt. For
outstanding balances over 31 days, a 2% finance charge
per month will apply (24% per annum).
The voice mailbox from the telephone system is for
your own personal use. The first time that you will
access it, a user tutorial will help you organize your
voice mailbox. This tutorial will guide you through the
first mailbox session, explain how to record a greeting
and your name. Please ensure you complete all 3 steps.
Voice Mail will be revoked if there are reports
of obscenities in greetings or messages.
We do not mail bills with balances less than $20.
Should your balance remain at less than $20 after
3 full months, we will mail your bill following that 3rd
month. If you currently pay your bills via pre-authorized
monthly credit card payments or chequing account
withdrawals, and we do not mail you a bill in any given
month, we will not charge your credit card or debit
your account for the amount under $20 that month.

Changing your Address
Your Primus Canada invoice will be mailed to your
residence address unless you indicated otherwise on
your application form. Please notify Primus Canada
immediately of any change in your residence or home
address.

Dial 6 + (1 800, 1 888, 1 877 or 1 866) + telephone
number. (No PAC Number is required).
Directory Assistance
Please use a pay phone (no cost) to access 411 or area
code 705 directory assistance. For all other directory
assistance calls - dial 8 + 1 + area code + 555-1212,
wait for tone, dial 10-digit PAC Number (A charge per
call will apply).
