Educators
accounts.
The More widget
shows additional
tools that are not
part of your
favorites.
The Budget
Tracker displays
information you
can configure in
the Budgets
widget.
Settings is where
you manage
your profile,
security, themes,
and alerts.
Help is found
throughout
Online Banking
and provides
useful tips.
Annoucements,
messages, and
events will be
featured in the
Educators News
section.
Last 15 Days
shows recent
activity. Next 15
Days shows
upcoming
activity.
Financial
Resources &
Education
displays a variety
of educational
articles that can
be customized
based upon your
goals.

directs you to
other trusted
Educators Credit

New Online Banking: Quick Reference Guide
Existing User Registration

This process is for Educator s Members who
have used Online Banking on the previous
system. New Users should use the New User
Registration Process

Enter your existing Online Banking
username in the UserID box at
www.ecu.com and click Login

Choose a confidence image and type in
passphrase

Choose a Username and verify availability

Verify contact information and agree to
the estatements disclosure
Existing users have been assigned a
temporary password to access the new Online
Banking System
Birthday Month + Day
+
Last 6 of SSN
The temporary password consists of the primary
account holder's day and month of their birthday, plus
the last SIX digits of their social security number. For
example, if your birthday is April 15th, and last 6 digits
of your social security number are 123456, then your
temporary password is 0415123456

You will be asked to select 5 security
questions and answers using the drop
down menus
Once your temporary password is verified,
you will establish a new password. Please
note the new password requirements
* Your new password must be at least 8 characters in
length and contain 1 letter, 1 number and one
capitalized letter. There is no maximum to how long
your password can be.
You re done! You can now use Online Banking. For

Click on New User from the Educators
Credit Union home page at www.ecu.com

Agree to the Online Banking Disclosure
* This process is for Members who have never used
online banking at Educators Credit Union

Confirm your identity by answering at
least 3 questions

Choose a unique Username, then select
the method of receiving temporary
password

Choose a new password. Please note the
new password requirements

Select challenge questions and answers

Choose a confidence image and type in
passphrase

Verify contact information and agree to
the estatements disclosure

You re done! You can now use Online Banking. For

What s New?
When you log into Online Banking, you will see Widgets on the left side of the
screen that link you to various tools and services.
Nicknaming / Hiding Accounts
1. Select Settings from the username dropdown
2. Click on the Accounts Tab
3. Click Edit on the account you with to modify
4. Enter a Nickname
5. Check the Hide This Account box
Alerts
1. Select Settings from the username dropdown
2. Click on the Alerts Tab
3. Locate the notification you d like
4. Click the Cog wheel to begin set up
5. Select Accounts for notification
6. Confirm email
Themes
Widget Favorites
1. Select Settings from the username dropdown
2. Click on the Widgets Tab
3. Click the Star to make it a favorite
4. Up to 5 Widgets can be labeled as a favorite
5. The More widget will house the remaining
widgets
1. Select Settings from the username dropdown
2. Click on the Themes Tab
3. Locate the theme you d like
4. Click Activate
