Our readers
Our magazines are widely popular and renowned for their
quality reproduction and design and for being informative,
relevant and entertaining. They are the only local media
delivered directly by hand to local homes and have been
supported with advertising by over 1,500 local companies.
BY THE DART – established in 2008; regularly 164 pages.
Hand delivered to 4,000 homes and businesses in Dartmouth
and Kingswear as well as over 1,500 copies available for pick
up at many distribution points in Dartmouth and surrounding
villages.
THE POST - established in 2010. Hand delivered to over 5,000
homes and businesses in/around Kingsbridge and Salcombe
plus a further 1,500 copies for pick up.
Both magazines are:
● Published six times a year.
● Printed in a B5 format on quality paper stock.
● Greater than 40% of pagination is editorial
● Editorial is locally relevant, informative and entertaining.
● Extensive listings of local events & features on key festivals
and regattas.
● Content is focused on interviews with local people, local
history & geography and profiles of local businesses &
community organisations.
● We reach over 80% of all homes in the TQ6, 7 and 8
postcodes as well as being picked up by many thousands
of visitors to the area.
● Readers are very loyal to these magazines with an
unusually high proportion retaining their copies for
months, if not years.
● A significant proportion of our readers are affluent retirees
to the area, second home-owners, vacationing visitors and
owners of local businesses etc.
