Volume 3, Issue 10, October 2015 QEP’s Oktoberfest Critical Thinking Corner... Some may equate Oktoberfest just with Samuel Adams, but not anymore. The QEP has started its own Oktoberfest. October is the month of “QEP endorsed” workshops. North Campus is leading the way for teaching and learning this month by hosting multiple workshops, and two of these have received the Gold Seal of Approval as “QEP Endorsed Events.” In addition to the workshops at North Campus, two QEP Certified Scholars will facilitate workshops on Central Campus. QEP Scholar Kisha King, who also serves as an Honors College Coordinator, is facilitating a workshop titled, Honors and the QEP, and Dr. Nathalie Franco is facilitating Metacognition: A Key to Cultivating Critical Thinking. You definitely do not want to miss these workshops.
