Multi-Team College Basketball Event Features Eight Teams Competing For Title
Anaheim, Calif. – September 30, 2014 – Tickets for the 2014 DIRECTV Wooden Legacy will go on sale Friday, Oct. 3,
at 10 a.m. PT. The eight teams confirmed to compete in the annual Thanksgiving weekend event are: Long Beach State,
Princeton, San Diego, San Jose State, UTEP, Washington, Western Michigan and Xavier.
The tournament will be held at two sites, with the opening two rounds being played at Titan Gym, on the campus of Cal State
Fullerton, on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27 & 28. Four games, including the championship, will be played at Honda Center on
Sunday, Nov. 30.
All-session tickets and individual tickets for Championship Sunday will be available at www.ticketmaster.com, via phone at
(800) 745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster outlets beginning Friday, and at Honda Center Box Office beginning Saturday, Oct. 4.
Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets by calling (714) 940-2859. Individual tickets for the opening two rounds can be
purchased at the Cal State Fullerton Athletic Ticket Office or by calling 657-278-2783.
Five of the eight teams in the 2014 DIRECTV Wooden Legacy competed in the postseason last March. Western Michigan and
Xavier earned berths in the NCAA Championships, while Princeton and UTEP participated in the College Basketball Invitational
(CBI) and San Diego reached the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT).
Special two-year ticket packages are available for 2014 and 2015 when purchased together. Teams scheduled to compete in
2015 are: Arizona, Boise State, Boston College, Evansville, Michigan State, Providence, Santa Clara and UC Irvine.
