Tulsa State Fair Oct 5th-9th Nathan Hale Parking lot will be a location where you can “Park-n-Ride” to the fair this year. The culinary students will have food and drink items for sale by the Bistro on October 5th- 9th from 57pm. Menu items include… o Cinnamon Rolls 3.00 Made from scratch with a cream cheese frosting. o Chicken and Waffles in a Cone 5.00 A waffle cone with Buffalo chicken bites covered in sausage gravy and a drizzle of maple syrup. o Koolickles 1.00 Dill pickles marinated in Cherry Koolaide – taste similar to bread and butter pickles. o Jalapeno Cheddar Corndogs 5.00 Jalapeno Cheddar sausage dipped in a homemade batter and deep fried. o Cheese on a Stick 5.00 American Cheese dipped in a homemade batter and deep fried. o Battered Bratwurst on a Stick 6.00 Bratwurst is simmering in a secret ingredient with onions, the grilled and dipped in a special batter and deep fried. o Mexican Street Corn on the Cob 4.00 Roasted corn on the cob rolled in cotija cheese and season with Chile and Lime. o Buckeye Balls 4.00 Peanut butter center dipped in chocolate then dipped in a funnel cake batter and deep fried and served with a strawberry sauce. o Giant Compost Cookies 4.00 If you love chocolate chip cookies you will love this twist on them, cookies are filled with oatmeal, chocolate chips, pretzels and coffee grinds. o Frozen Lemonade 3.00 Hand squeeze lemons are the base for this homemade lemonade. o Sweet Tea 2.00 Traditional southern sweet tea.
