Streamside Summer Sculpture Trail 1 – 30 June ‘Reflections’ on the landscape month-long exhibition of sculpture located alongside the country’s longest Streamside garden. Bath House Gallery – Sculpture Showcase 1 June – 3 July A showcase of sculptures made from ceramics, wood and metal including chicken-wire animals and magical metal fungi. NEW Harlow Carr Flower Show Yorkshire Day 9 – 10 July 1 August Top sweet pea growers take part in this prestigious competition which promises breath-taking displays and scents from hundreds of sweet pea blooms. The National Sweet Pea Society will also be on hand offering expert advice and surplus blooms will be on sale. Bring a picnic and take part in the ‘Intergalactic Games’ with space hopper races, a Yorkshire tea cup challenge, cosmic welly wanging and more. Games start at 1pm.
