They are muses and were created by well-known artist Pamela Irving during her residency at the School. When approached by the Lauriston Arts Association (LAA) to be part of the Art program, Pamela wanted to make a piece that represented women and education as well as say something about herself and her work. ‘I decided to create a whimsical version of the nine muses of Greek mythology. Millie Bongiorno (Year 12) Millie Bongiorno, our 2015 Snowsports Captain, led a strong team to 12th position at the Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships. Millie came third overall in the Giant Slalom Division 1 snowboard event and fourth in the Snowboard Cross Women’s events. Annie Cui (Year 8) While getting ready to perform at the Gala concert this term, Annie also needed a spare room to practise Licia won many of her matches and gained loads of experience playing against older players from all over the world. Licia is part of the Lauriston team which has been selected to play in the Victorian Inter-School Championships. Licia and her trophy the flute for her Grade 8 AMEB exam.
