The musée du Louvre owns some Eros coming from tombs of Myrina (n° inv. Myr 54 et 62), similar to the statues
exhibited by the gallery, regarding the stylistic treatment and the anatomy of the figures. They represent teenage
Eros whose bodies are slender, gracile, and whose round wings show ranks of very tight feathers. We are allow to
think that the six statues would come all from the same workshop.
Greece or Magna Graecia (Myrina ?), 4th-3rd BC.
Terracotta. For some piece: small lacks and/or broken and repaired.
