PROGRAM : CRAIG DRAKE
Craig Drake, our President-Elect and his wife Gloria attended the Rotary International Convention in Seoul, Korea. Also in attendance were Greg and Sandy
Bartz and Jim Hunt, our newly elected District Governor. By all accounts Craig
learned a great deal about the Korean culture and was overwhelmed by the
43,000 Rotarians in attendance at the convention. After hard days attending the
Rotary sessions, the White Bear Lake contingent were able to relax at many fine
Korean restaurants where barely cooked octopus was the standard fare. John
Grim from Chattanooga, Tennessee is the new Rotary International President
and his theme for this year is “Rotary Serving Humanity”. Craig was amazed by
the cleanliness of Seoul, the friendly people, and the efficiency and low cost of
the subway system. International singing star Park Jae-Sang, better known as
PSY performed at the final show for the closing ceremonies. Overall, Craig said,
“I drank the Korean Kool-Aid and liked it.” Thank you Craig for the program and
your service to humanity.

I’VE BEEN WORKIN’ ON THE
RAILROAD
I’ve been workin’ on the railroad
All the live-long day.
I’ve been workin’ on the railroad,
Just to pass the time away.
Don’t you hear the whistle blowin’,
Rise up so early in the morn.
Don’t you hear the captain shouting,
Dinah, blow your horn!
Dinah, won’t you blow, Dinah, won’t you
blow,
Dinah won’t you blow your horn!
Dinah, won’t you blow, Dinah, won’t you
blow,
Dinah won’t you blow your horn
