Enrolled in the first year. 1975 Diploma (“Very good”), in Biology, from the Department of Biology, of Patras University, in April. 1972-75 Helping, with the educational and research activities in the Institute of Botany, during my studies 1975-77 Served my military duty for 28 months (May 1975 - September 1977). 1976 During my military service, I taught Biology for two semesters at the High school of the District of Serrae, according to the relative decision of the Ministry of Education and the command of the General Staff. 1977 Appointed as assistant in the Institute of Botany of the University of Patras. 1984 September-October, visited “ Institut de Botanique, Universite de Neuchatel, Suisse”, and in cooperation with Prof. C. FAVARGER and Prof. Ph. KÜPFER, studied subjects on the Endemic flora of Peloponnisos, with emphasis on cytotaxonomy, and conservation of the Endemic and endangered plant species. At the same period I had the chance to visit “ Conservatoire et Jardin Botanique de Geneve”, and studied the deposited botanical material. 1985 January, visited “ Botanisches Garten und Botanisches Museum, München, in Germany, and studied their botanical material. 1986 In January, became Ph.D. in Biology, in the Department of Biology of the University of Patras, where I presented my Thesis entitled “Contribution to the study of the Endemic Flora of Peloponnesos”. 1988 September, visited for one month, “Botanisches Garten und Botanisches Museum, Berlin -Dahlem, Germany”, and also for one week “Technische Universität München, Lehrstuhl für Pflanzenbäu und Pflanzen-züchtung, Fleisching-Weinenstephan, Germany. 1986 August 1986 - December 1989, Lecturer, in the Division of Plant Biology, Department of Biology, University of Patras; Teaching subjects on Systematic and Taxonomy of higher plants. 1990 January.
