Graduation Speech To: The Senior Class of 2007. This year has been the hardest year for all of us with all the college applications that we had to fill out, and taking the SAT‘s and finishing the rest of our senior year. Who would have known that our last year would have been this hard and stressful? This year as seniors we have gone through a great deal of transformation, whether it was in our appearance, our attitude or realizing that we are no longer kids and this is our first shot at greatness. Whatever type of transformation we have made; we have made it for the better. I would like to wish all the seniors an extreme amount of luck in college and your future decisions. When you walk out of George Washington never forget about the long line of wonderful teachers and staff at the High School of International Business and Finance because I know they’ll never forget you. Good luck seniors, God bless. There are a few people I would like to personally thank. I would like to thank all the AP’s and the staff of the High School of Business and Finance especially. Ms.Smith The first person I would like to thank is Ms. Smith – Ms. Smith I want to thank you for being the best English teacher. While most teachers would give up on a student who is struggling with their education, you’ll spend all night and day to make sure that student gets what they need. Ms. Smith, the reason why so many students and teachers love you and look to you for help is because you’re the Mommy of the school, and like most Mommies you give love and care and a good talking to when we are being bad. I’m going to miss your personality, Ms, Smith. You are an extraordinary teacher and person. That’s why I declare you as the most significant English teacher in my life. No other Graduation Speech teacher has made me work and think as hard as you have, and no other teacher has ever made me want to wake up and get to school just so I can wait for your class to begin. Mr.Alvarez I want to thank you for being the best principal and a friend to me and all the other students in this school. If Ms. Smith is the Mommy, then you are the Daddy of the school, although sometimes, Mister, you’re a pain in the neck. Although, at times we might bump heads with one another at the end of the day, everything you say stays within us, and everything you do – it is for our benefit. And we appreciate that so much. Guidance office, Ms.Rojas/Ms. Quinones, Thank you guys for listening and helping us within the course of the year. Ms.Quinones, although you are new to the faculty and staff at IBF, you have truly been a pleasure to work with and talk with. I hope you stick around for a long time. God bless you. Ms.Miller/Ms.Taveras Thank you both for being the two people who are the heart and soul of the school because without you guys everything would be everywhere. You guys give love all the time.Even when you don’t have to, you both go beyond your job. Ms. Miller, you are a very important person to me because you treat me as if I were one of your own children financially and emotionally. I love you so much. Ms.Taveras Thank you for everything you have done this year. Ms. Rosanna Rodriguez, Graduation Speech I appreciate everything that you have done this year for us seniors. You have worked extremely hard. We have not shown you enough of the appreciation you so deserve, but I want you to know that we appreciate everything you’ve done this year. To my Family Thank you, Mommy and Daddy. I want to thank you guys for always trying your best to give me the best in life. I love you guys with all my heart. To my three best friends, Cristal Pimentel I want to thank you for always being a true friend and for always being there for me and for allowing me to be a part of your family. You are a strong person who has been through a lot in life, and I know that with your beautiful talent wherever you go, you’ll succeed. Elizabeth Pena I want to thank you for being one of the people in my life I can turn to and lean on to cry or whine and I’ll miss so much, and never give up on your talent for singing . I believe you’ll go far. Julianny Lahoz, Thank you for being the tough girl in the group because your tough back made me a little tough too. I’m proud of you. And good luck in New Paltz I love you guys with all my heart, you are more than just my best friends you’re my soul sisters for life.I love you guys so much farewell.
