What does the year 5776 mean?
On September 13th at Sundown, we entered the new year 5776. We as the Church need to start looking
at God’s Calendar, the Jewish calendar. God established it in the beginning and continues to use it to
this day. He is a God of Order!
I’ve been amazed the last 7 years as I have dug deeper into the meanings of the years, This year 5776
has an amazing meaning!
First off, to find out what God is saying we have to look at the numbers, not as individual numbers, but
as the way we read them.
Five thousand, seven hundred, seventy, six
It’s amazing! God not only gives us a word over every year, but every decade, every century, and every
millennium! He’s a good God!
Let’s dig into this, each number has a Jewish letter assigned to it. Each Jewish letter has a meaning, and
they will blow your mind. To find out all this I googled the big numbers and found out the letters for
them, then I used the amazing book “His Glorious names” by Dr.Suuqiin.

Second last letter in Hebrew alphabet -Shin -sharp, nurturing

Now lets put it into a sentence :
Behold (enter into) the covenant of the cross.
It is a sharp nurturing work.
Know, watch, and be secured.
God has also revealed that the Psalm of this year (Psalm 116) lines up with this word, Open up your
Bible to Psalm 116 and you’ll see what I mean:
vrs.1-2 - Hey - Behold and enter into a fresh Love and intimacy (in-to-me-see)
I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
vrs.3-5 - Tav - The covenant of the cross holds us together (google laminin - it’s amazing)
The pains of death surrounded me,
And the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me;
I found trouble and sorrow.
Then I called upon the name of the Lord:
“O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!”
Gracious is the Lord, and righteous;
Yes, our God is merciful.
vrs.6-8 - Shin - You will nurture me by the sharpness of your Word
The Lord preserves the simple;
I was brought low, and He saved me.
Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
For You have delivered my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
And my feet from falling.
vrs.9-14 - Ayin - Seeing is believing - Speak out what you see!
I will walk before the Lord
In the land of the living.
I believed, therefore I spoke,
“I am greatly afflicted.”
I said in my haste,
“All men are liars.”
What shall I render to the Lord
For all His benefits toward me?
I will take up the cup of salvation,
And call upon the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows to the Lord
Now in the presence of all His people.
vrs.15-19 - Vav - I’m secured in You!
Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints.
O Lord, truly I am Your servant;
I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant;
You have loosed my bonds.
I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And will call upon the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows to the Lord
Now in the presence of all His people,
In the courts of the Lord’s house,
In the midst of you, O Jerusalem.
Praise the Lord!
Now lets take everything and put it into a declaration and decree over our lives for this year!
I declare over myself today that I will behold and enter into a fresh revelation of
the covenant of the cross! That I will have a fresh love and intimacy with you. I
hold onto you because You have held me! You are gracious and righteous to save
me from anything that comes my way, You are compassionate!
I declare that I will have Your words come out of my mouth in every situation I
face! That it will be sharp words like Your Word is a sharp two edged sword!
I declare that You will nurture me by the sharpness of Your word.
I choose this day to surrender to you afresh and to be nurtured by you, not by this
world. I come to you! I want to know you in a fresh way, come and show me Your
Glory!
I declare that I can and will see what you are doing today! I will watch for You at
work in everything that happens today. I will speak out what I see in faith
believing You are speaking to me.
I declare that I am secured in YOU!
