RegionoftheNWAACC;Clackamas,Clark,Chemeketa,Mt.Hood,Lane
andSWOCC.AssistantCoachesmayrepresentaheadcoachfroma
memberschool.Passed5/30/13;Effective7/1/13
B.SportsChairassignedtoBaseball,alsoincludedasmembers.

ThecurrentNCAABaseballrulebook,NWAACCcodebook,
andSpecialSouthernRegionregulationsfoundintheS.O.P.willgovern

II. Schedule(2014;weplay22Dates)
A.
ParticipatingcollegeswillbemembersoftheNWAACCand
SouthernRegion,orinvitedcolleges,asneededtofulfilltheplaying
schedule.
B.
Eachinstitutionshallbeallowedatotalof12weeksforFall
baseballandpreseasonpracticewhichmaybeutilizedbetweenthe
datesofSept.15ththroughNov.15thandJan.15ththroughFeb.28th.The
scheduleofwhenthe12weekswillbeutilizedmustbereportedtothe
NWAACCofficebyAug.30th
B.
FallPlayingSeason
Eachinstitutionshallbeallowedatotalof12weeksforfallbaseballand
pre‐seasonpractice,whichmaybeutilizedinbetweenthedatesof
September1throughNovember15andJanuary15through
February28.EachinstitutionwouldreporttotheNWAACCofficeby
August30thetimeperiodsinwhichthe12weekswouldbeutilized.

Rain‐outs:Itistheresponsibilityofthevisitingbothcoachesto
callforaweathercheckbeforeleavingonatripandtheresponsibilityof
thehomecoachtocommunicateanyschedulechangesordelayswith
thevisitingcoachassoonaspossible.Telephonenumberstobecalled
mustbeincludedontheschedulesmailedtoopponents.Iftheweather
isquestionable,callthedaybeforethescheduledgame.Whenpossible,
gamesitesshouldbereversed.Ifanearlierroundisreversed,thenext
roundshallbereversedfromtheoriginalschedule.Rainoutsshouldbe

Decisionsarebasedonthefollowingcriteria:

game(loserout).ThewinnerplaystheNumber1team(Hometeam)in
asecond,9‐inninggame.TheWinnerofthisgamewillbethenumber2
seedfromtheSouthernRegiontotheNWAACCTournamentandthe
losingteamistheNumber2seed.TheNumber1(hostteam)is
responsibleforofficialswhileNumber2andNumber3willsplitthe
gameballsforbothgames.
3–Fourteamstieforfirstbyleaguerecord.Usethetiebreaker
formulatoplace1,2,3and4.Number1hosts4while
