ANDERSON HILLS CHRISTIAN CHURCH
(DISCIPLES OF CHRIST)
Vacation Bible School
PENTECOST
SUNDAY May 15th
Help decorate the church
for Pentecost by bringing
red flowers for the
sanctuary and wearing red to worship.
Let’s celebrate the amazing gift of God’s Holy
Spirit...our Comforter and Helper, Counselor and
Advocate - the Spirit of Truth.
It’s time to register for Vacation Bible School 2016!
The adventure begins for children 5-12 years old
from 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at AHCC, June 6-Jun 10.
This summer we will explore Egypt and learn the
stories of Joseph and, of course, sing and dance to
“Pharaoh, Pharaoh” and other fun songs.
This year Anderson
Hills Christian
Church has a VBS
Fund that will be
used to pay the
registration fee for
all the children from
AHCC that want to
go to VBS.

Dear Friends
Your generous donation to the Church World Service Blankets + program tells people in crisis, “You’re not
alone. Someone cares.”
We are deeply grateful for your support. Because of your compassion,

Families who have lost their homes to tornadoes, floods, earthquakes and other disasters are getting
help with blankets, emergency food and shelter—and with rebuilding their lives and livelihoods.

People struggling against crushing poverty and harsh climates are learning sustainable farming practices
what will help them keep food on the table—and take it to market.

Vulnerable children have access to clean, safe water and the nutritional food essential to growth,
development and life itself.
On behalf of all the people who feel more hopeful and less alone because of your generosity, we thank you.
May God bless you for your support,
Rev. John L. McCullough
