Here, the birds are very well monitored, fed on a natural diet and roam freely in the Wiltshire countryside. The poultry is slaughtered on site, traditionally dry-plucked and then hung for 3-14 days in cold rooms. This process helps preserve the natural texture and enhance the superior flavour of the bird. All birds supplied include giblets. As a guide for choosing your bird, we would recommend that you order half a kilo per person, however individual choice will depend on upon appetite, age group and the leftovers required for another occasion. Make sure you have enough room in the fridge until Christmas for everything to stay fresh. We expect and will endeavour to keep the prices as quoted. However, if due to unforeseen increases in costs we may have to adjust them. We will inform you immediately of any changes. Customer Information - Hampers and Boxes All prices exclude delivery. Local delivery is available on the Thursday the 22nd only (£5 charge), please ask for information. In shop collections can be made on the 22nd, 23rd & 24th December. UK courier collections can be made up to and including 22nd, excluding 17th & 18th (weekend). Courier rates up to 5kg: mainland UK: Monday – Friday before 10am /£26.10; before 12noon/ £21.10, next day/ £16.10. Please note Friday collections will be charged at the Saturday rate, before 10am/ £37.10, before 12noon /£33.10 All prices are correct at time of print. We make every effort to ensure all products are in stock. However, if an item you require is not available, we will let you know and offer a substitute product. Weights are approximate, products will be cut and weighed as near as possible to the specified amount. To maintain optimum condition of the produce we use a sustainable, chilled insulated packaging system that guarantees fresh food to remain at below 8°C for up to 24hrs. Hampers and meat boxes contain fresh produce, please refrigerate immediately after delivery. Owing to the fresh nature of these products, hampers are only available for collection between Monday and Saturday. Please note; the responsibility for the refrigeration of fresh items lies with the recipient. Hamper baskets are made from the highest quality willow, secured with leather straps, and finished with ribbon bow and label. They are fully lined with Woolcool® – a by-product made from abundant, sustainable sheep’s wool, and an eco-friendly packaging solution that offers outstanding temperature control. It is biodegradable and compostable, which will release valuable nitrates back in to the soil. Fresh Meat Boxes are made from sustainable recyclable cardboard that will stand up to the rigours of couriers. They are also fully lined with Woolcool® for optimum temperature and quality control.
