Opportunities for promotion of tools and services Please note AHRI has many opportunities for organisations to promote tools and services through the AHRI corporate sales team. AHRI webinars are not an appropriate forum for sales promotions and presenters are asked not actively promote tools and services through a proposed session. Webinars are largely informative in nature, employing anecdotal examples and providing practical tools and strategies that attendees can take away and start using immediately. If Selected • The presenter must prepare a 45 minute presentation with PowerPoint Slides (for a 1 hour webinar). • PowerPoint presentations should be kept simple. There shouldn’t be any videos or links to websites that you’ve embedded and your slide changes shouldn’t have any animation or sounds. Not everyone will be running on high quality internet speed so adding bells and whistles has the potential of buffering issues. • As the presenter will be speaking for about 45 minutes 70 slides will be too many, we should aim for about a minute per slide to ensure the listener can get all the information, on the other hand you do not want to be on one slide for too long as you may lose the listeners attention. • Powerpoint slides must be submitted to AHRI for approval no later than one week prior to the presentation. • Your Powerpoint may be used in post-webinar publications. • Agreement must be made to not market products or services during the session. Registration As a member-based organisation, AHRI does not pay speaker fees for webinars or provide commissions. Presentation Agreement If your proposal is accepted by AHRI, presenters must guarantee that they are the sole proprietor of this material, and that no proprietary rights or copyrights belonging to any other person exist. You further agree to deliver in advance to the webinar the proposed session materials. No fees or reimbursement of expenses will be paid by AHRI for selected proposals.
