Topics to be Covered in The Pre­Conference Workshop Introduction to Social Science Research, Selecting and Defining Research Problem, Approaches in Quantitative and Qualitative Research, methods of collection of qualitative and quantitative Data, development of tools, Quantative data analysis by using SPSS, Qualitative Data analysis by using Atlas‐ti, Writing Research Proposal, report writing and Presentation skill. Call for Abstracts:
Abstract of papers on topics relevant to the Technical themes are invited from those who want to present papers at the conference. The abstracts should besubmitted ONLINE through the following link. http://www.iassh.org/onlineabstract.aspx Young Scientist Research paper award: There will be two best research paper awards to the young scholars less than 30 years of age.It should be single author research paper. Interested young scholars should submit abstract bymentioning "For Young Scientist Research paper award" through the following link http://www.iassh.org/onlineabstract.aspx Apart from the Young Scientist Research paper award, there will be two “best poster award” for the poster presentation. Paper presenters will be given about 8 minutes and are advised to organisethe presentation
accordingly/ use 10-12 slides only.
The screening committee will review all the submitted papers and recommend the form of presentation as oral or poster. IMPORTANT DATES:

Travel Grant:
Authors of the accepted abstractsfor ORAL or POSTER PRESENTATION or delegates
attending the PRE- CONFERENCE WORKSHOP maybe provided with to and fro second class
rail fare.Travel Grant will be awarded to PRESENTER only. Please explore the possibility of
obtaining TA/DA from your parent organizations, which will facilitate more participation of young
scholars.Decision of award of travel grant rests with the review committee on the basis of
available funds.The recipient of travel grant must be a member of IASSH.
