Celebrate
Hispanic Heritage Month
September 1515- October 15
Guidelines:
Open to Middle School and High School Students, 6th
grade to 12th grade for Willacy, Hidalgo, Cameron,
and Starr Counties.
Theme: Demonstrate the student’s concept of
“Mi Cultura” or “My Culture”.
One entry per student.
Entry should be 16 X 20 size.
All art mediums accepted.
Art pieces will be critique in 2 categories: Beginning
and Advanced
Prizes:
Each Entry must be clearly labeled on back
Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and
with student name, age, school and school district,
3rd place winners in Middle School &
grade level and name of teacher, Beginning/Advanced High School categories!
and phone number.
Entry Deadline is Wednesday, October 5, 2011
at 5:00 p.m.
(Art entries should be submitted by this date.)
Entries should be submitted to the
RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce office
3313 N. McColl Rd, McAllen, TX 78501
Top 10 entries will remain the property of
the RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
for 3 months!!
All other Art work needs to be picked up by
Friday, October 28, 2011 or becomes property of
the RGVHCC.
