WHOLE OR LIGHT MILK
Aunt Jean’s Dairy produces Whole Milk, and Light Milk. Both are
available in one-litre glass bottles, or in a cardboard outer pack of six.
We believe that happy cows produce more delicious milk. So all our
cows are A2-tested, are raised in the open air and can graze freely on
the lush green grass of our local farms. We never feed them palm
kernel expeller, or add any permeates — and our milk isn’t homogenised.
ABOUT AUNT JEAN’S DAIRY
Julian and Cathy Raine — whose family have over
80 years of dairy farming experience in Nelson —
have created Aunt Jean’s Dairy so you can enjoy
milk the way it used to be: farm-fresh milk
delivered directly to the store in clear glass bottles.
GLASS IS PURE CLASS
Milk in glass bottles tastes better because glass
preserves flavour, so all you taste is the pure flavour of
our premium quality whole milk. Glass is healthier too,
because it’s pure and non-reactive, forming a natural
barrier to protect the quality of the milk. Glass is also
100% natural, so it’s infinitely recyclable.
CLEARLY A BETTER WAY TO ENJOY MILK
From A2tested cows
Fresh from the
farm
O-I New Zealand firmly believes in the superior taste of milk from a glass bottle and in the
sustainability story behind glass as an infinitely recyclable material.

Better-tasting
in glass
WHY GLASS
IS A BETTER CHOICE
TASTE
Glass preserves flavour. When you drink something that’s packaged in glass, you
experience the pure taste of that product - nothing more, nothing less.
HEALTH
Glass is pure and non-reactive. It is the most neutral and natural of packaging
materials, it’s also a natural barrier, virtually impermeable to oxygen.
SUSTAINABILITY
Glass is natural, made from three simple ingredients: sand, limestone and soda ash.
Glass is 100%, infinitely recyclable
QUALITY
Products in glass say ‘quality’. It’s the only packaging material that people are inspired
to save, reuse, collect and display.
GLASS RECYCLING IN NEW ZEALAND
Milk bottles, as with any glass bottles should be placed into your kerb side
recycling bins where they are processed through your local council recycling
scheme, returned to Penrose, Auckland, to be made into new bottles.
