Lipscomb Elementary will participate in Power Mondays throughout the school year. Power
Mondays will be: Aug. 24, Aug. 31, Sept. 14, Sept. 21, Sept. 28, Oct. 5, Oct. 26, Nov. 2, Nov.
16, Dec. 7, Jan. 11, Jan. 25, Feb. 1, Feb. 8, Feb. 22, Feb. 29, Mar. 7, April 4, April 11, April 18,
and April 25

Car riders choosing to start school late on Power Mondays are dropped off
between 9:00-9:12 A.M.
1. Students are to arrive for Power Mondays between 8:10-8:27 either by bus or car rider.
2. Students should leave their back packs outside their classroom doors and proceed directly to
the gym. They are to be seated by grade level at a designated cone.
3. No students will be permitted to enter the building between 8:25-9:00 A.M. All car rider
students must be dropped off by 8:25 A.M.
4. At 9:00 A.M., students are dismissed from the gym and will sit in the hallway next to their
class.
5. Students sit in hallway from 9:00-9:10 A.M.

At 9:10 A.M., students will enter classrooms.
8. At 9:15 A.M., the official tardy bell will ring and school will begin for the day.
