slides of 12 meters high and 100 meters long each, which
go outside and fall in the indoor pool, offer the whole family

Once in Livigno you won’t need your car anymore. Thanks
to a well-structured network of a free bus service you can
reach, 365 days a year, every corner of the town, the ski
slopes and the points of interest in a simple, cheap and
environmentally friendly way. The 5 urban lines, with free
wi-fi connection, are in fact in service every day from 7:30
to 20:00. The bus stop are easily recognizable thanks to the
wooden shelters with the Livigno’s logo.

If it is true that holidays become unforgettable also for the
dishes you taste, then Livigno is the perfect place where to
have a taste experience. Its cuisine is strongly
characterized by the tradition of Valtellina, which proposes
as main dishes pizzoccheri and sciatt prepared with
buckwheat. Livigno is traditionally the ideal place for
Bresaola aging, which is a typical dried beef together with
slinzegha of beef, pork or venison. Good to taste is a
typical digestif named Taneda, an Achillea distillate, which
is harvested during the summer above 2000 meters.
From producer to consumer. Every day at the Livigno Dairy
takes place the processing of milk produced by the local
farms, providing genuine cheese and dairy products, which
are sold on site, distributed in town’s shops and
surrounding areas. At the Dairy you can have lunch tasting
cheeses, cold meats, salads and ice cream… of course
they’re homemade. In summer a sunny terrace near the
river Spol, makes your break even more suggestive. Not to
be missed: the exhibition of ancient objects.
