This training is expected to play an active role in the rapid technological change that we are witnessing nowadays. By creating new opportunities for post graduates in electrical and computer engineering; this training was to ensure mastery and transfer of technology in design and development of modern systems and this is by training specialists in the design and development of software systems and hardware dedicated to the STIC. Concerning the projects under this master, the researchers are welcomed in laboratories and research teams of Tunisian universities including l’ENIS, l’ENIM , l’ENIT, FSM,FSS, etc,(see list below) who have already participated in the training and support under this master. They are also welcomed in foreign research laboratories such as LAAA of CNPS in Toulouse, I3S of CNRS in Sofia Antipolis, the university of Toulon and Var, laboratory of Lester of Lorient, etc. Furthermore, jointly supervised theses are in preparation. This training focuses on original research topics not only theoretical but also applied in domains related to STIC. Indeed, these applications, especially those in multimedia, seek, in their design and implementation, a multitude of skills in computer engineering, electrical engineering and information processing, hence the obligation to have a multidisciplinary profile for their achievement(see figure). This strengthens the strategic partnerships between the university and its industrial environment, something which has encouraged the creation of joint synergy with colleagues in other national and international institutions to meet such needs in terms of applied research. It should be noted that this master has just reinforced training in the third round in this domain nationwide by introducing other complementary aspects. The outlets are in public or private research organizations, in higher education and also, for an increasing share, in industrial jobs of concerned sectors of activity. In fact, beside the institutions of higher education, several industrials who settled in Tunisia, especially in the technopoles, have really expressed their interest to recruit engineers/researchers trained through this training course and they even contemplate to undertake doctoral work in collaboration with research laboratories attached to this training. Admission This master continues to address the students holders of a diploma of engineer, or a university-degree, or an equivalent diploma and validating capacities pronounced to undertake high-level studies in the specialities indicated below. Candidates should have a basic training obtained in the best conditions and also complete in computer sciences engineering and electrical engineering. Priority is given to graduates in: computer sciences engineering, electrical engineering, and university-degree in computer sciences or equivalent diplomas. The admission is made by a committee which can possibly require an interview to pronounce. This committee may on the one hand allow on file, the students in the final year in certain trainings of engineers to join this master and on the other hand the students having a diploma of engineer to get out of the written exam in the first semester and to join in the second semester to make the training. Professions Perspectives and foot bridges After creating new opportunities to engineering students and graduates in computer sciences engineering and electrical engineering, this action aims at ensuring the mastery and transfer of technology in terms of design and development of modern systems and this is by training specialists in design and development of software systems and equipments dedicated to the STIC. Therefore, this master can offer a training course of a high level speciality in the fields of computer sciences engineering, micro-electronics, intelligent systems and their applications Created with Print2PDF. The outlets are in public or private research organizations, in higher education and also, for an increasing share, in industrial jobs of concerned sectors of activity. The teaching program The NTSID training course allows to obtain a master according to four options presenting a common-core syllabus insuring the additional theoretical training. The second year is reserved to the preparation of a report of research treating an original subject of current events and giving place to public defence in front of a jury. The different parts of the training course program are (see figure): A common-core syllabus introduces the key aspects related to systems-design methodologies dedicated in the field of STIC ( 7 modules x 20h) A group of modules “ Design Techniques and Software Engineering” focuses on the computing models and tools(computer Aided Design) for the design of distributed and embedded Systems in the field of multimedia and NTIC ( 5 modules x 20h) A group of modules “Information processing and multimedia Systems” deals with the aspects related to techniques and new approaches of information processing and multimedia systems, etc (5 modules x 20h). A group of modules “chip- based” with the chip-based conception aspect of modern systems. It is a question of studying the conception and integration of multimedia systems technologies and techniques : communication, signal processing, real-time systems, embedded systems, etc ( 5 modules x 20h) A group of modules ‘ Computer Networks and Communication Systems” deals with, in a more specialized way, the key points related to modern networks and the communication systems ( 5 modules x 20h). Conclusion It should be noted that the options deal with related and complementary aspects. The training course is constituted of a common- core syllabus and an option among the following group of modules or modules for choice. Pedagogical seminars and living languages are equally integrated in this training course. Created with Print2PDF. To remove this line, buy a license at: http://www.software602.com/
