To make its networks greener, the group is investing €250 million in projects
aiming to integrate its infrastructures into the environment more effectively.
Protecting the air
To contribute towards reducing CO2 emissions in the atmosphere, sanef is
rolling out non-stop electronic toll collection across the board, covering all its
networks’ roads, and is committed to developing car-sharing and comodality.

Protecting biodiversity
With a view to safeguarding the diversity of living organisms, the group is taking
various measures and investing in a biodiversity audit, as well as operations
to raise awareness on protecting the habitat of various species and showcasing
the heritage represented by trees.
Protecting against noise

Through its preventative approach, the group is contributing towards the protection
of homes labelled as noise black spots, as provided for under the regulations in force.
Deploying ecodesign
To design eco-responsible sites, built with ecological materials and incorporating

sanef aims to focus its toll solutions and services on the satisfaction of its customers, both infrastructure
users and public or private licensing authorities, and providing ever more innovative solutions serving
sustainable mobility.
sanef designs, supplies and deploys electronic toll collection solutions using DSRC (Dedicated Short Range
Communication) and satellite technology. To reduce the toll system’s environmental impact, the group offers
non-stop or free flow solutions.
With its subsidiary eurotoll, sanef is able to benefit from the expertise of an European Electronic Tolling
Service provider, offering fleet managers a range of value-added services as well as electronic toll collection
services which are interoperable with Spain, Slovakia, Italy, Austria and soon Portugal and the Czech Republic.
