Game On!
From board games to game shows, children will
play their week away. Children will create and play
their own game board games and outside games,
challenge other teams to competitions in physical
strength and speed, and put their brains to the test
in games like Trivia and Jeopardy.
Heroes
There are superheroes of movie and comic book
fame, and then there are the everyday heroes
working to make the world a kinder and safer
place. This week celebrates them all. Activities will
include improvisational games, cape-and cowl
making, and creating comics.
Water World
Children will explore water in creative ways,
including freezing it, mixing it with substances,
spraying it, dripping it, filling balloons with it,
floating things in it, playing water tag, and the
inevitable...getting drenched.
Frozen
Celebrate winter in July! There are all kinds of chilly
fun planned for this week. Children will paint with
ice cubes, toss “snowballs,” make ice cream, snow
globes, and drink hot chocolate.
Amazing Challenge Week
Contests willed be based upon the cultures of four
countries—France, Japan, Ireland, and Mexico.
As the children make their way from country to
country, they will encounter various challenges
relating to popular cultural items or activities.
Sports Galore
Get ready for an entire week of being active
and challenged! In addition to typical sports,
the children will spend time playing badminton,
croquet, bocce ball, capture the flag, and frisbee
golf.
