The mission of The Movement Camp is to share God’s love and truth with youth
through dance. Our two day camp will incorporate stretching, strengthening,
technique, and improvisation with fellowship, prayer, and God’s Word. There
will even be a live worship band!
Dancers age 4 and above are invited to attend this two day camp. The camp will
be split up into four age groups: 4-5, 6-8, 9-12, and 13 & up.

Heidi Lynch Heidi Lynch is the Owner and Director of Studio H. Heidi began her dancing over
30 years ago at the age of 3. She was trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and tumbling for 8 years in Sabetha,
Kansas and Fall City, Nebraska. At the age of 10 she began training under Beth Bell for 7 years in
Ottawa, Kansas. She has performed in 42nd Street, Oklahoma, Brigadoon, Sound of Music, and
numerous other musicals and plays. Heidi began taking Master classes from Jennifer Barringer, Amy
Blake, Joe Tremaine, and Art Stone at the age of 12. She began teaching as an assistant in tumbling,
ballet ,tap and jazz at age 13 and taught through high school and college. At a high school level Heidi
earned the National NCAA Superstar Award and qualified to perform at the Rose Bowl in 1990.
Heidi was chosen 2 years in a row to be a VIP at state and regional competitions. After winning a
Regional Tremaine Competition Heidi competed in Nationals in New York City in 1989.
Heidi went to Northwestern College in St. Paul Minnesota and graduated with a Marketing/Finance
Degree. She worked as a Promotional Planner for General Mills for 2 years before marrying her high
school sweetheart, Ryan Lynch. Ryan and Heidi moved back to their hometown of Ottawa shortly
after having their first child, Alex. They now have 3 children Alex-17, Beau – 16, and Noelle - 14.
Heidi’s 1st dance studio in Ottawa was Heidi’s All-Star Dance in 1998. Recently, Heidi has continued
her dance education at Dramatic Truth Intensive Workshop, studying under Aaron Chen and Dance
Olympus, under Amy Blake, Angie Carter, Sarah Jo Fazio, Jon Finck, Jennifer Russell, and Brian
Santora. Studio H was opened in 2008 and she is so thankful the Lord has given her an outlet to share
her passion for dance with the children in her community.
Kara Hess
- Kara is a classically-jazz trained dancer from Minnesota. Kara grew up in the
midwest training and teaching at studios, summer intensives, and conventions across the
country. Her training took part at The Dance Shoppe, Summit School of Dance, Hopkins Dance
Center, Ballet Arts, and MDT. At the age of 16, she switched high schools, quit her studio, attended
college, and finished her high school degree at the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing
Artists. Throughout her studio career, Kara earned top awards and scholarships at Jump, WCDE,
Nuvo, and Co. Dance allowing her to travel across the U.S. and work alongside the best of the best in
the industry. Kara’s professional career started when she moved to LA in 2007 to study Dance and
Business at Loyola Marymount University. In 2009, Kara graduated at the age of 20 Cum Laude with
a BFA in Dance and a minor in Business. A couple months after graduation, Kara moved back to the
city of angels and signed with McDonald Selznick and Associates. Kara can always be found living
and continuously learning at EDGE PAC in Hollywood. Kara works along side leading names in LA
and can be recently seen on The Mindy Project, ABC Family Bunheads, the Nickelodeon Teen Choice
Awards with Paramore, the HBO movie “Behind the Candlelabra,” Lifetime’s “Starving in Suburbia,”
90210,The X-Factor and The Voice with Florence and the Machine,Victorious, Modern Family, the MTV
Video Music Awards with Rihanna, industrials for Disney, performances throughout the city, and the
Marcea and Kelle Company dance catalogs. You can also find Kara performing with dance
companies SoleVita (Joelle Martinec), Escape Artists (Alex Little), and Revelations Dance company (Nichelle
Bane).
Kayla Bingham – In addition to training and performing internationally with Odyssey Dance
Theater and Cirque Berzerk, Kayla has performed with an expanding array of entertainment elites,
including Catherine Zeta Jones, Seth McFarlane, Armin van Buuren, Pink, Paramore, Daft Punk, the
cast of the Academy Award-winning 2012 firm Les Miserables, and the European pop sensation
Helene Fischer. She has also danced at a number of high-profile events, including the Academy
Awards, Teen Choice Awards, American Music Awards (US), Echo Awards, and Bambi Awards
(EU). Kayla will play White Tiger in Jiang Wen’s Gone With the Bullets (co-produced by Columbia
Pictures and scheduled for international release later this year), her first character role in a major
feature film.
Kristi Swob - After training at Priscilla & Dana’s, Kristi moved to Los Angeles and was selected
for the EDGE Performing Arts Center “Scholarship” program. During her career, she has appeared
in numerous music videos and performed live with artists Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Prince,
Brian Setzer Orchestra and Taylor Dayne. She has performed in various televised award shows and
also traveled across the United States and internationally to perform for companies such as Reebok
and Skechers. She was assistant to the choreographer for Madonna’s 2001 Drowned World tour.
Kristi spent much of her dance career pouring into next generation dancers while she traveled with
the L.A. Underground/ L.A. Dance Magic dance convention. She enjoys teaching and passing on her
love for the art of dance; helping kids truly learn to express themselves through movement and
“speak” from their heart and soul.
While dancing is a love of her life, Kristi pursued and received a life changing relationship with God
in 2002. Since, she has also been passionate about ministry and helping others find the hope and
love of Christ that she has found. Kristi was on children’s ministry staff at a large church for a
number of years, and is currently (along with her husband) a part of a church plant team. Their hope
is to launch a redemptive movement in our city by living out the story of God in simple ways. …
loving neighbors, serving the community, and befriending those who are far from God. She is
blessed to have the opportunity to choreograph and perform for churches in the area. She is most
blessed by her amazing husband and 2 beautiful daughters whom she shares and enjoys life with.
Morgan McCool - Morgan trained at Priscilla and Dana’s and was one of 20 people chosen for
the Edge PAC scholarship program in Los Angeles, CA. While in LA, she danced in promotions
for the major motion picture “Fame” and has performed and choreographed for Nike. She has
worked with renowned choreographers on music videos, stage performances, and industrials.
Morgan is represented by MSA and is teaching and choreographing at Priscilla and Dana's. She is
pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies at Liberty University in hopes of a career in Christian
counseling. She is also the founder of P&D's Christian youth group, "The Movement.”

The Movement Camp tuition fee is $50 (ages 4-5), $100 (ages 6-7) and $125 (ages 9 and up), which includes a t-shirt and all

I understand and agree that in participating in any dance class there is a possibility of physical injury. I voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and
