We will work with the students to develop models that enable them

We will work with the students to develop models that enable them to make good and
conscientious decisions based on scriptural values. We will emphasize the importance of
making decisions that do not harm themselves, others or the environment. We will also remind
the students of the importance of being able to say “sorry” when they make mistakes and to
act correctly, as Jesus would have, in these situations. Please help us by praying for the staff
and students as we explore this important virtue.
While we focus on responsibility, let us also be mindful that students have a long list of duties
which can sometimes become a source of stress: homework, chores, music lessons, athletic
commitments, babysitting, and parish/community responsibilities. School staff members attend
to an ever-growing list of tasks. Parents struggle daily to balance work and family
commitments. It is essential in this modern world that we try to do our best while
understanding there are limited hours in each day. We need to give each other permission and
time to enjoy each other and God’s blessings and bounty, rather than always worrying about
completing our “to do” list. Thank-you for raising such wonderful, responsible children, and
sharing them with us each day.
