The civilization rose in the Bronze Age
The civilization rose in about 2700 B.C.E.
They fell in 1900 B.C.E
They lasted for about 800 years
● The Brahmins are the highest place in the government. They are
priests and religious scholars.
● The Kshatriyas are the second highest form of government. They
are rulers and warriors.
● Trading was very important because without trading people would
have to all the jobs instead they can trade for what they want.
● They traded many stuff like barley, cotton, melons, peas, rice, sesame
seeds and wheat.
The Indus river’s economy Continued
● Geography affected the trading system because some people can’t
farm in the cold weather and no one can trade with other people..
● Their economy was separated because everybody had different jobs.
● The Indus River Valley Civilization believed in Hinduism and Buddhism
● They also believed in Karma (don’t get silly on us) and Dharma
● First civilization to have weight and measuring system (stone weights)
● First civilization to have a sewer system for waste

Some architects of the indus river civilization was
● the great bath which was a pool made of waterproof bricks
● A sewage system made for carrying waste away from homes
● their citadel which was a fortress built to protect the civilization
