From the economical and simple to the elegant all encompassing affair, we offer a wide selection of options.
Whether you would like a wedding menu package that can be all inclusive or an ala carte menu design that
allows you create your own signature wedding, we will be with you guiding, recommending and helping you
plan a wedding to remember.
Our chefs are culinary professionals and the superior quality of our food is matched only by that of our
professional and friendly staff.
All of our Wedding Services include standard linen, china and flatware, contacts to all support vendors and
expert counsel from our certified wedding professional on site coordinators. A private on site Bridal Suite
is also included for the wedding party to relax. Chair Covers and specialty linen are also available for additional fees.

your planning will be stress free!

The Regatta Ballroom… is our largest room and can accommodate up to 350
guests for a sit down dinner, up to 400 for a cocktail reception and is also a perfect setting for a business meeting or conference. It is beautifully and tastefully
appointed and is an exquisite venue for a wedding including a large dance floor.

The Optimus Room… can seat up to 70 for a sit down dinner and 100 for a
cocktail reception. It is a perfect setting for smaller private parties and business
meetings. Large parties in the ballroom sometimes use the Optimus room for an
additional brake out room.

The Bridal Suite….can accommodate up to 15 people for an intimate dinner
and also serves as our bridal suite with it’s own private bathroom.
All rooms utilize round and banquet seating depending on the hosts request,
linen table cloths, napkins and table skirting when required. Free Wi-Fi, current
audio visual equipment as well as copying services, flipcharts, easels, wireless
microphones, podiums, elegant china and flatware.

About Us
The Regatta Events and Banquet Center has long been regarded as Southern Maine and New
Hampshire’s premier and affordable event facility. It is conveniently located on Route 236 North
in Eliot Maine and located only just 2 miles from the Maine turnpike. The Regatta has ample free parking for over
300 cars and is located only 5 minutes from beautiful Downtown Portsmouth.
The facility boasts of three beautifully appointed rooms serving parties from 20 to 400 guests.
The Regatta specializes in gala weddings, social gatherings, private parties, cocktail receptions, business
conferences and special events. Our large modern kitchen with its professional certified chefs prepare elegant
buffets, plated meals and hors d’oeuvres. Our chefs are trained to accommodate specific dietary concerns and
will cater to any menu requests. We also have an off premise catering division that will customize an event for you
should your gathering need to be at another location.
Our banquet manager Barbara Valarese holds a graduate degree in both business management and
Marketing Research and is a certified Wedding Coordinator. Along with Executive Chef David Squillante
who holds a degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales and has also studied in Italy this duo
is certain to make your event a memorable one!

Why should I hold my event at the Regatta Banquet & Conference Center?
The Regatta, above all else, is committed to making your event perfect. We are incredibly flexible when it comes to
developing a menu that suits your tastes and creating an event that is exactly the way you have imagined it.
Is there a room fee?
Yes. Our room fee will fluctuate based on the level of food and beverage requested.
Please inquire within for a breakdown of our room fees. The (wedding) room fee includes the following:
• Four Hour Block • Tablecloths & Napkins • Chairs & Tables
• Flatware and Silverware • Exclusive use of facility
• Two Certified Wedding Coordinators • Centerpieces
• Audio and visual • Cake Cutting Services
• Set up and Breakdown of the room • Full Bar Set-Up
Can I bring in an outside caterer?
We do have an on-site kitchen, so you would not be able to bring in an outside caterer.
You can, however, provide your own cake from your vendor of choice.
Can I change the menu?
Yes. We are more than happy to accommodate any requested menu in addition we are also equipped to accommodate any dietary restrictions that you or your guests may have.
When is payment due?
Payment is due 2 weeks prior to your event. In the event that the count goes up or a bar tab is being paid,
the additional payment can be settled at the conclusion of the event.

Over the last four years, we have compiled a list of trusted vendors that we feel secure in recommending to our
guests. We can help you find the best local hotels, transportation services, disc jockeys and more!
