Roaring Camp. We offer unique party packages: a private caboose festively
decorated, a charming one-room schoolhouse, an outdoor canopy package
and a Thomas the Tank Engine™ package. Besides private and playful
venues, no birthday party at Roaring Camp
would be complete without a steam train
excursion to Bear Mountain and back.

Party Packages
The Caboose Package ... 750
Imagine your own private caboose awaiting you on a special
railroad siding at Roaring Camp, festively decorated with
colorful balloons.
Your package will include:
• Party favors for up to 28 little guests
(paper engineer’s hats and train whistles).
• A Roaring Camp engineer’s hat and scarf
for the birthday child.
• Six picnic tables covered in checkered cloths
and decorated with balloons. Fifty-five gallon
barbecue barrel for light cooking.
• Your caboose is joined to the last scheduled train
of the day for a 75-minute excursion through the
redwood forest to Bear Mountain and back to
Roaring Camp. Your private car is returned to its
private railroad siding.
• Maximum capacity is 28 people. Additional tickets
must be purchased with the caboose package
at a special group rate to ensure reserved space
in the adjacent car.

One-Room Schoolhouse Package ... $350
Have a private little party in a charming one-room
schoolhouse. Enough room to seat up to 20 little ones.
Party favors (paper hats and train whistles) for up to
20 children. Balloons and decorations included.
Your package will include:
• Four picnic tables covered in checkered cloths on a
large deck with enough seating for up to 24 accompanying moms and dads. Great location, adjacent to open fields for games, semi-private site. Portable barbecue barrel is available for light cooking.
• General group rates available for train excursion when purchasing 25 tickets or more or special discount coupons provided for individual purchase at time of package purchase.

Outdoor Canopy Package ... $295
Celebrate your birthday outdoors at private picnic tables with
canopy covers
Your package will include:
• Party favors (paper hats and train whistles)
for up to 28 children. A genuine engineer’s cap
for the honoree. Up to 6 picnic tables covered in
checkered cloths and an old time camp barbecue
barrel for light cooking.
• General group rates available for train when
purchasing 25 tickets or more or special discount
coupons provided at time of package purchase
and upon request.
• Maximum capacity up to 50 persons.
Thomas the Tank Engine™ Package ... $450
Thomas the Tank Engine™ themed party for the aspiring
engineer. Outdoor picnic area for up to 20 little guests.
Additional picnic tables nearby for accompanying moms
and dads.
Your package will include:
• Thomas the Tank™ goodie bags
• Picnic tables with table cover and balloons
• Thomas the Tank Engine™ piñata
• Thomas the Tank™ decorated birthday cake
(1/4 sheet cake for 15-20 guests)
• Portable barbecue barrel is available for light cooking.

Bag Lunch Add-on

Parking is $10 per car. Parties using outside professional caterers are subject
to a $5 per person surcharge. All vendors must make prior arrangements
with Roaring Camp for deliveries and set up.
Use of Roaring Camp facilities or grounds (except Bret Harte Hall rentals)
after 6:00 p.m. requires a minimum of 100 people plus $350 per hour fee.
Roaring Camp closes at 11:00 p.m.
