Oxford Green Week is a city-wide festival which uses creativity,
culture and community to inspire local people to take action on
climate change. LCO Week showcases Oxford as a leading ‘green’ city
and provides opportunities for diverse organisations to work together
towards a shared goal.
LCO week began in 2014, and already by 2016 we succeeded in:
• Working with over 60 partner organisations
• Putting on over 100 events during the festival week
• Attracting over 40,000 attendees
LCO Week is changing its name to Oxford Green Week this year to
appeal to wider audiences. The festival is fast becoming an
unmissable highlight of the social and cultural events calendar in
Oxford – set to rival Darlington’s Festival of Thrift, and Bristol Big
Green Week – and create a buzz around environmental issues in a
way that hasn’t been achieved before in our city.
