Enclosed you will find a complimentary copy of the Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union 2009 Annual Report. This
year‟s annual report reflects a significant year of achievement for our organization. Achievement is not solely measured
by positive profitability and financial results; but at Ohio Catholic, it is measured in terms of how many individuals,
families, schools and parishes we have assisted. Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union is an organization that is driven by
the values of our Catholic faith. This is why we exist…it is the essence of who we are…it is why we believe that we
provide a differentiated and distinct experience to those we serve.
We know that the Catholic parishes, schools, and charitable organizations do not operate autonomously from their
members. Thus at Ohio Catholic we believe that by helping and supporting these institutions, we are in turn helping you
continue the ministry of the Catholic faith. Ohio Catholic has developed exclusive savings and loan products that offer
the most favorable terms to Catholic parishes and schools. Our Sponsorship Savings Account offers parishes and schools
a higher dividend rate and a more liberal liquidity option than our standard savings account offering. Earlier this year, the
OCFCU Board of Directors approved a new tier for deposits over $300,000 that will pay 1.30%.
It is with the deepest humility that we take on the responsibility of managing the credit union and supporting the needs of
fellow Catholics. Every day we strive to be good stewards of the credit union and conduct ourselves in a manner that is

Building Strong Relationships Everyday…
Welcome St. Mary School, Chardon…
Sam Faciana, Garfield Branch Manager, and Sue Cobb, Assistant Branch Manager, held an informational
meeting for parents and staff at St. Mary School on the Ohio Catholic Tuition Payment Program. This program
is exclusively designed to support Catholic education. St. Mary‟s staff was pleased to find out how simple the
Tuition Payment Program was to implement. They appreciated all the funds being available at the beginning of
the school year and the administrative support that Ohio Catholic provides to its Tuition Payment Partners.
Parents were very excited about the new relationship St. Mary School was developing with Ohio Catholic
Federal Credit Union and were delighted with the ease of applying for a tuition loan, the low financing rate, and
the simplicity of making manageable monthly payments.

Macedonia Branch Manager, Cara Zahn was able to provide St. Mary‟s parish staff with the service that they
deserve by personally going to St. Mary Parish to open accounts and to coach them on Ohio Catholic‟s It‟s Me
24/7 Online Banking program. They loved it! They stated how nice it was to have a „Personal Banker‟ address
their unique needs versus working with a corporation that handles everything so impersonally over the phone.
They were also impressed with all the features It‟s Me 24/7 Online Banking provided and felt it would make
their lives easier.

Holy Spirit Academy
Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union visited the kindergarteners at Holy Spirit Academy. The class was
beginning an educational unit on paper money and coins. Carol Hradek, Member Services Director, spoke to
the class about the purpose and value of money. She read a delightful story to the class titled, A Quarter from
the Tooth Fairy by Caren Holtzman. The class enjoyed the story and played a money and coin recognition bingo
game. Each student was given a Mr. Coin Saver Bank to encourage the value of saving money. A Mr. Coin
Saver stand-up display was left in the classroom to reinforce the lessons learned that day.
